Q: How does four color process work?
A: Four color process is a printing process where you begin with finished full color artwork and separate out the artwork into the CMYK format – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. The separate films are created and printed with special process inks and the print looks like the original artwork.

Red, blue and green are the primary colors of light that the eye perceives. Computer screens and televisions use red, green and blue light. When the three colors are mixed together it creates white, and the absence of color altogether is black. While this combination works great on screen, it does not work quite so well on paper. Due to this the process is never perfect and will hardly ever produce two images of the same artwork that looks exactly the same.

**NOTICE: All of our printed products are four color process which are subject to variations in exact coloring. Therefore we cannot guarantee when you receive your product the colors will exactly match the proof that you view on screen.  We also cannot guarantee that the coloring in the same product ordered at two separate times will match each other exactly.

Q: Does perforated vinyl restrict your vision through the window?

A: You can see very well if there is no rain or precipitation.  You may not even notice that its there. Water does get in the holes, but dries out.  When it rains you can’t see much of anything.

The industry solution to the problem is to laminate with a clear laminate.  We do not recommend this because the laminate is not perfect vision, it has adhesive that blurs vision, and the worst part is that after a few car washes, the laminate has so many micro-scratches that rear view vision is holographic when headlights hit it.  As the laminate ages the problem gets more intense.  A soft brush can be used to remove dust from the holes occasionally if you even notice that.

Q: How are your products shipped?
A: Products are shipped using UPS only. All vehicle graphics are marked “Signature required”, which means that they will not leave it on your doorstep. Delivery will be attempted three times before returning to Dream Street Graphics. Tracking numbers are provided in e-mail form at time of shipment. You are responsible for tracking your packages and being there for delivery.

Q: How do I get my graphics installed if I’m outside of Indiana?
We will help you find a qualified installer in your area at a reasonable price.  We’ll do the research and ask the questions to make sure that there is nothing to worry about, and there is no additional cost for this service.

Caring for your vehicle after installation:

Washing
Hand washing is the best way to keep the vehicle clean. You want to avoid high pressure systems as they may damage the adhesive around the edges.  It’s okay to run it through a car wash as long as it’s not high pressure.

Do Not wax your vehicle
If you have a full wrap, there is no need for wax.  If you have only a partial wrap, you can use wax on the exposed paint, but make sure to remove any build up along the edge of the graphics.

Window Graphics
If you have a vehicle with window graphics or window perforated graphics, you want to avoid using an ice scraper. Instead, turn on the defroster and use a soft brush to do the job.

Edges Lifting
It is expected that some edges will lift around the wheel wells and the underneath of the car or truck. This usually will happen within the first two weeks. If such an event occurs, just give us a call or stop by and we will be happy to take a look and make any necessary repairs.
