Tim recently completed the 3M Preferred Installer Training at 3M headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota. The 3M Preferred program is the highest level of training an Installer can receive. It is a new program designed for the expert individual installer who wants to set themselves apart from the rest. The 3M Preferred program not only deals with vehicle graphics, it also entails training in every aspect of vinyl graphics, from sidewalks and storefronts, to entire building wraps. Upon completion of the 3M Preferred program Tim also received the 4-Star Endorsed rating, which is the highest rating possible from the 3M Endorsed Installer program, which deals exclusively with vehicle graphics and wraps. Tim scored a 97.75%, scoring 1176 out of 1200 possible points, and was told that he had scored one of the highest scores ever for the program. Tim the first and only 3M Preferred Installer in Indianapolis and we are extremely happy to have him here at Dream Street Graphics.
There are several benefits to using a 3M Preferred Installer such as:
-Only 3M Preferred Installers are backed by a 3M warranty. Many shops may claim to offer a warranty with their product, but only shops that have a 3M Preferred Installer can make a claim to 3M. That would make Dream Street Graphics the only wrap shop in Indy that can truly offer you a warranty that is backed not just by us, but by 3M.
-3M Preferred Installers must maintain a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy, so you know that your vehicle or property is covered no matter what.
-Peace of mind knowing that your vehicle is in the hands of seasoned professionals who are highly trained on the most advanced techniques and materials available.
We are very proud of Tim and all his hard work. Great job Tim!

We were NOT the first choice for vehicle wraps when Ryan Schwartz, owner of Window Makeover needed help with his fleet graphics. He had automatically relied on local sign suppliers and wasn’t happy. After all, vehicle graphics are just another sign, right? IF all things were equal that would be correct. Check out the list of things that were not equal for his graphics.
This month’s employee spotlight is one of the creative minds behind the design force that keeps Dream Street Graphics running. Born in Beech Grove, Indiana, Justin Albertson grew up around cars and motorcycles, initiating his passion for vehicle design. Growing up he Continue reading →
“I said…Did you hear what I said?”. Communication is like that sometimes. We sometimes assume we’re on the same page as the person we’re talking to only to experience frustration later. Especially when working with customers, we may think we’re moving forward until we hit a snag. The customer thought we said one thing, when we meant another.
We sell vehicle wraps. Sounds simple since it’s just one thing, right. But just like any marketing communication, there is so much more to consider than just verbal interaction, as if that wasn’t enough to consider. After all, we communicate with our customers in a variety of ways. We see them in person, talk on the phone, text, email and message them in social media.
What is your percentage of responsibility in communication?
For the past 16 years, we’ve been helping clients brand their messages through graphics on vehicle wraps. As technology improves, so do our graphics. By placing a QR code in our wraps, we’re bridging the gap between general interest and specific information. When a use scans a QR code from our partners at TodaysQR.com, they are directed to a user-friendly mobile website allowing them to watch video, read and socially share content of value, make donations…even order food from their phone.
